Our 2 Day Canoe Adventure with Camping, Glamping, B&B and Holiday House Options
Looking for a family adventure holiday, weekend away with friends or a canoeing holiday in the UK?
Our popular 2 Day River Severn Canoe Adventure combines two fantastic days of paddling with beautiful scenery, wildlife, historic towns, riverside pubs and a return journey on the famous Severn Valley Railway.
Based in the stunning Severn Valley in Shropshire, this self guided canoe adventure takes you from Coalport to Bewdley via Bridgnorth and Hampton Loade, following one of the most scenic sections of Britain's longest river.
With new accommodation options for 2026, it's now easier than ever to tailor the trip to suit your group, whether you're travelling as a family, a group of friends, several families together or a gathering of couples.
Why Choose a 2 Day Canoe Adventure?
Unlike a day trip, a two-day canoe adventure allows you to properly slow down and immerse yourself in the beauty of the River Severn.
You'll spend two days exploring peaceful countryside, paddling through historic landscapes, spotting wildlife and enjoying some of the best riverside scenery in England.
The trip combines:
✔ Two days of canoeing on the River Severn
✔ Historic market towns and villages
✔ Beautiful countryside and wildlife
✔ Riverside pubs
✔ Flexible accommodation options
✔ A heritage steam railway journey
✔ A unique short break in the heart of Shropshire
The Adventure Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrive & Relax
Arrive at your chosen accommodation and settle in.
Enjoy a meal at the local pub, cook dinner together, explore the surrounding countryside or simply relax and unwind before your adventure begins.
Whether you're staying in a woodland campsite, riverside B&B or holiday house overlooking the river, the Severn Valley is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Day 2 – Coalport to Hampton Loade or Highley
After breakfast, we'll transport you to Coalport where your canoe adventure begins.
Launching below the Ironbridge Gorge, you'll paddle through beautiful countryside before arriving in the historic market town of Bridgnorth. Many groups choose to stop here for lunch, explore the independent shops or enjoy a riverside drink before continuing downstream.
Beyond Bridgnorth, the river becomes quieter and more secluded, winding through woodland, farmland and peaceful countryside before reaching Hampton Loade or Highley.
After a fantastic day on the water, return to your accommodation and enjoy another relaxing evening.
Day 3 – Hampton Loade to Bewdley
After checking out and loading your belongings into your vehicle, it's time for the final stage of your adventure.
This is one of the most beautiful sections of the River Severn, passing through peaceful countryside, beneath the magnificent Victoria Bridge and through the picturesque village of Arley.
Keep your eyes peeled for kingfishers, herons, buzzards, deer and other wildlife as you paddle downstream.
Your canoe journey finishes in the charming riverside town of Bewdley, where you'll have time to explore the shops, cafés and riverside before boarding the heritage Severn Valley Railway.
Sit back and enjoy a nostalgic journey through the Severn Valley as the steam train carries you back to your vehicle.

Spent a few weeks observing how SOL-based platforms handle transactions. Most convert your deposit to an internal currency, which isn't always disclosed upfront. A handful keep SOL native throughout, which is technically cleaner. I checked https://www.solanacasino.org/ for reference and noticed their breakdown of which sites use which model. That distinction actually matters when bonuses are involved since conversion rates affect what you receive. Speed is real though, Solana confirmations are fast compared to older chains. Nothing revolutionary, just a different infrastructure layer. Worth understanding the deposit model before committing. As always, approach any platform with measured expectations and verify terms independently.
