Stand up paddleboarding (SUP) is one of the best ways to explore the River Severn – calm, scenic and perfect for both beginners and those looking for a relaxed day on the water.
At River Severn Canoes, we’ve expanded our SUP experiences for 2026 after a great response last year. Whether you’re trying it for the first time or ready for a longer paddle, we now offer two options to suit different levels.

Once you’ve covered the essentials, you’ll head out for a gentle paddle on the river to build your confidence.

Time to unwind and enjoy the river
At the end of the trip, many customers choose to return via the Severn Valley Railway, adding something extra to the day.
